The Graduate Program (Strict sense), Master and Doctorate Levels Academic, in Health Sciences, has been recognized by Capes for 25 years (since 1998), being rated 4 in evaluations since 2004.
The program began its trajectory in 1991, originating in the area of Dentistry and thus consolidated itself in conducting more than 25 trained classes. Em 2020, aiming at its sustained growth, The program restructured and expanded its performance to other areas of health, adding professionals from different formations, creating the promotion concentration area, Prevention and treatment in human health.
Since then, The research work of the team of teachers and students follows with excellence in the formation of human resources, production of knowledge and transforming role in society, focused on improving health and quality of life. Having as its graduation profile of the program, Masters and Doctors in Health Sciences, technical and pedagogically trained for the exercise of teaching and research, Developing Science, in different areas, both national and international.
The course curriculum offers theoretical classes, practices, extracurricular activities, Teaching stages, encouraging different activities to future masters and doctors, as well as participation in seminar activities, Congresses and Research, promoted by the University of Taubaté and other institutions of teaching and research of national and international projection.
Research themes make up two concentration areas: Dental Clinic and Promotion, Health Prevention and Treatment. Interdisciplinary research includes the 2030 Agenda, the indicators of sustainable development objectives (ODS) established by the United Nations (Him) and other studies that result in effective contributions and influence, directly or indirectly, in development.
